Up for sale is my 1/32 figure-8 slot car track.

It is currently set up in a 90" x 209" configuration though you can extend the length on either side by 8 feet (16 total race track length) with the two additional track pieces I have. Six lanes with 3.5" lane spacing. Best for 1/32 cars.

I purchased the track about five years ago from well-known track builder Bob Scott in AZ. I have enjoyed the track but life has changed and its time to pass it on to someone else to enjoy. The track is in good shape and comes with all the cars (some with new Tuna tires), controllers, and power supply. Everything is Professor Motor. It includes a TrackMate timing system with serial interface. I am also including a freshly-rebuilt timing computer with LCD display.

Overall the track is in very good shape. Legs are fully adjustable and everything is numbered. Braid could use cleaned/replaced in some spots but it does still work well as a hobby track. It is a fun track to race and does offer a fair degree of driver challenge. Please keep in mind that this track is not new and may require some rehabbing for your purposes.

I am willing to help with the tracks relocation within reason.

$2,500 OBO to a good home. I would also consider trading for a nice four-lane routed 1/64 HO track as well.

Hello. Can you tell me how many sections it breaks down into and also how big the largest section is? I'm curious about transporting it, how big of a truck or trailer would be needed, Thanks.

Hello Glenn,

It is 8 sections.  The most difficult one to manage is the banked turn which is about 90'W x 54'L x 17'H.  It needs to sit upright also or it could be deformed in transit.  I brought everything home in a 6x12 enclosed trailer and the bed of short-bed pickup with a shell on it.  Though if I had squeezed I think I could have done everything in the trailer.

Final markdown, I plan to keep the track if it doesn't sell at this price.  I bought it over double in 2014.

It's a great track and price.   I bet if it was 1/24 scale it would be gone.      It could be a 3 lane 1/24 track!

Thanks Matt.  It really is a great track.  We have had lots of fun with it.  Yes,  It will run 3x 1/24 lanes.  Not optimal for some I know.  I liked the smaller size of the track.  Its still lots of fun and doesn't take up a huge footprint.  The way I have it setup,  it requires about the same space as a regulation pool table and in my opinion is a lot more fun.  1/32 cars and parts are also available everywhere locally.  Lots of pluses.  Just needs a good home and someone to enjoy it.

All Bob's tracks have that great flow to them.   I bet it could be fun with  cars built for that size track.
