Trying to figure out if this is a home built chassis ?

And just who makes this motor ?

Looks like a Pittman  65 a  motor....


It's one of the bigger padlocks with the brush arm pivots/insulators, Pittman DC85 probably. Chassis looks scratch built.

Pittman DC 65 has 3/32" arm shaft, DC 85 is 1/8".  From the flag size, it could be a 65 by the photo - they do look alike.   Motor has been lightened by cutting mass.  Several companies cloned the 85.

Hi looks like a pittman dc85 on non brush side it might say pittman but looks like there is a hole drilled right there if it is a ram version would say qc there not sure abot strombecker pittman has 5 pole arm ram 7 pole.
