Back on the Flat track this Saturday with the usual racing times. 10 AM tech for F1 followed by lunch and Can Am starting in the early afternoon. Since we're getting close to the Checkpoint if you have an Anglewinder Coupe you want to run, by all means bring it out!  We probably won't have enough for 2 separate races but you can run it in Can Am.......See you there!  :good:

In BPR Flat track action today at BPR, Mill Conroy won a close F1 race over Dale Yamashita and Jason Holmes. In Can Am, Dale ran to a comfortable win but 2nd was up for grabs with Rick Linn just nipping Bryan Warmack by a couple feet when time ran out!

Full report with pics up shortly............

Good day of racing the F-1's at BPR Sat. Thought I was going to throw my car in the trash can it was so lousy in practice. With some advice, I changed gearing[thanks Gary], changed braid[thank you Bryan] and off we went. Eddie, Mark Franco and myself had a hell of a "B" main race. First time in 5+ years I've been able to podium and make a move up! STOKED! In the A main, I just kind of cruised, letting the quicker guys do their thing. I had a friggin' blast. Don't let  anyone tell you Eddie Shorer isn't fast any more. He is very quick on BPR's flat track. He's got it working.

Tough day at the office for me. Still beats staying home doing chores. Thanks to Jason and Bryan and Dale and Dennis for helping me out. It  didn't look like it at times but I was having fun. That's racing. That a boy Tom.
