I hope this doesn't come off as being anything but an expression of surprise, but one of my billet motors just sold for what I think is the most I've gotten for a motor.  Winning bid was $192.50.  So, I really am surprised in a good way.

Quick John, make another one for the runner up  :) Just takes two buyers who really want the same product.  Nice sale.

I have another can (*I think it's #3), but haven;t gotten around to figuring out which way to go with it.

Thanks Ken...these things ARE a lot of work, but in the end, they're only worth what a person is willing to pay.  Here I got lucky is all!

John, please don't sell yourself short. There are only a handful of people in the world who can do these motors to this level of skill, creativity and craftsmanship.

The person who got lucky is the winning bidder.

Thanks Joe.  Well...at least i can say I enjoy this stuff anyway.  Usually I get way less than what the work involved with the motors should call for, so getting  the "right price" (*only based on effort and materials) once in a while is a pretty cool thing, once in a while anyway.  :)
