Races are held every other Saturday and it's always free!!! We have two sets of IROC style cars and everything else you need to go racing.

We have held awesome 1/32 Hardbody Stock Car races in Longmont, CO, on a lazy figure 8. We have had 3 minute heats where no one could get away from a pack of four that were extremely well matched and no one deslotted! That is some fun racing!

 

The figure 8 lends itself to that kind of parity! Take John up on his invitation to do IROC racing on it!

 

Like I always say: Keep it in the slot!

The picture shown was shortly after we got the track up and running for the first time. Since then, we have added the Trackmate scoring system, a nice 32" monitor visible to all, and switches which allow us to run the track in either direction, no matter what controller you at using!

 

We also have a Facebook page (search A and T Raceway and 'like' our page) to keep everyone up to date on news, race dates, etc. We have everything you need to go racing, and it's always free! We just want people to come and share the good times we have every time we get together!!!

We don't have a specific race schedule. We try to have races when we can get enough racers to make it worthwhile. We'd be happy to have you join us some time.

 

We have a Facebook page (search for A and T Raceway); we post our race days there.

 

Right now, we are in the process of making our track a little bigger by breaking up the existing donut and adding a couple of straightaway sections to each side of it. This will take a couple of weeks or so to get done, but it should make the track a little more difficult and fun to drive.

 

I will try to update here when the mod is done and when we'll have our next race!

Well, we finished the mod and gave the new track a good test, logging about 1500 laps on it last Saturday. We'll be hosting some races very soon, as soon as schedules allow. Keep up with all the happenings here on our Facebook page, and you'll be up to date on everything....

Our track is now a 50 foot 4-lane track with automated scoring and plenty of power!!!!

We will be having a night race this Saturday, April 27th. Track will be open at 6pm for practice, with the races following shortly thereafter. My oldest brother, Lee Tipps, is visiting from Georgia and we are having this race in his honor. Lee owned two different slot car businesses in the late 60’s, and has raced everything from slot cars to go-karts to stock cars. We hope to have a nice turnout for this one, and as always. we supply everything you need to race, and it's absolutely FREE to race with us!....feel free to join us!!

Thanks for the kind words Don, and yes, it’s definitely tougher to drive now. It’s very easy to overdrive the turn before the drivers straight now (especially on Blue and Yellow). Everyone who races here likes the mod, and that’s all we can ask for!!

Hi Caleb, and yes, we’d love to have you next time you’re out west. We don't really have a set schedule, it just depends on what’s happening in the real racing world here locally as many of our racers also either race or help out with that. We had our best turnout ever last time, and we’re in the process of building another set of IROC cars (trucks) for the track.....things are looking up here!!!!

Hey everyone, we’re having two races this Memorial Day weekend. First race will be Saturday, second one will be Monday. Practice starts at 9:30am both days, and you don’t need to bring anything, as we’ll have everything you need to go racing!

Anybody wanna go racing with us? Were racing this Saturday, July 6th, open at 9:30am for practice. You dont need to bring anything, well supply everything, and it wont cost you a dime! Give us a try, I guarantee youll have fun!!!!

Weve just finished another mod to our track. The turn before the drivers straight was always banked the wrong way. Well, we added a support and a small leg, and now the turn is banked the right way. It has really helped reduce the number of hard crashes on the drivers straight, but you still have to drive it!!....well, I tried to add a photo but for some reason it keeps uploading the photo upside down.....oh well....

We are planning another get together this Saturday, the 28th, so if youre in the San Diego area come on over and join us. Well have everything you need to go racing, and its absolutely free! We could use an extra racer or two this time. Track is open at 9:30am for practice, the weather's gonna be perfect, so come and join us.
