It's time to start the New Year off right. We are heading back to where retro racing began in New England at Modelville Hobby on 1/27/18 with Stock cars on the Royal followed by Can Am on the Sovereign. Track opens at 7 with tech for stock car at 9:30. Power will go off for both tracks. Power on the Royal is 12 volts and braid depth is .025. Power on the Sovereign is 13.2 volts and braid depth varies a bit but as long as you set it at .030 you will be good. Anything less and there is a chance you might launch on the straight. $15 for each class and $10 pit pass.
Recommended set up for Stockcar:
Chassis: 135-140 grams
Body: VFC Charger or Daytona
Gearing: 7/27 or 8/28
Tires: JK treated/untreated
Recommended set up for Can Am:
Chassis: 108-112 grams
Body: Parma or O/S Ti22 long, Parma T-163 Lola
Gearing: 9/28 or 9/27
Tires: JK treated/untreated or Kelly Retro
