So I'm wandering around the local mall and I notice a Baseball and collectable card dealer. Inside I see collector cards for sports, cars, farm equipment, Big Rigs and more. So the question is.......Has anyone ever heard, seen or owned Slot Car Trading Cards?     Would anybody even be interested in them?

I've got one of Herman P. Finklemeyer and Alfred C. Schnicklefritz. Herman is credited with inventing the guide pin and Alfred ( Herman's great grandson) is credited with inventing the drop arm.  :D

Somewhere here on Slotblog you can read about the legends of Herman and Alfred.

Organize and get them made, just please let me add some of the descriptions and anecdotes!  Some won't like theirs, but they will make others laugh!  I'll sleep good at night because if I qualify for a filler "just a collector" series card I've got brutal stuff to say about myself!

That's the kind of thoughts that sent me to prison.

Lucky for me I had a good lawyer. He got me out when my time was up.  :laugh2:

Hi,

not really trading cards, but Carrera had a card game (Carrera Universal slotcars ) in the 70's.

Were some nice pictures on the cards. The original games are quite rare, but there is a repro game, that costs around 10 Euros.

I found an option in my graphics program that prints photos randomly. I put a few on one sheet of our business cards. Anybody want to offer some pictures of great looking or historic cars for consideration? If this gets a good response, we may do it from here out. Email me your pics and descriptions to cavemanbodeez@gmail.  Please consider the limited space available for your pictures information.
