The chassis on the left is either a proslot or hunter box chassis from the mid 90's. Both were almost identical. Not sure about the one on the left.

A motor is only as fast as the chassis it's in.

One on the right looks to be a 90's Eurotoy chassis.  Maybe 1/32 scale - would need to measure WB to be sure.

Don is correct, the chassis on the right is a 1/32 Eurotoy. It's a steel chassis with an inboard spur gear. If set up properly, they run good & rival a Parma Int. 32. When Jerry owned JK he sold both 1/32 & 1/24 Eurotoys for $3 each, I bought a couple.

And the chassis on the left ?

They look a whole lot like your avatar picture there Bill from NH !!!??

SO is a Proslot or a Hunter chassis ?

I've seen some Proslots sorta look the same, but don't have the tube and all that soldering !

Can't fine the Hunter chassis pic anywhere  !?

I used one of the 1/32 Eurotoy chassis, without the body pan, to build a 151 Maserati from a Classic fiberglass shell.  It won its race at the last Rad Trax slot car convention

Ted, the chassis in my avatar is something I got from CA on eBay because I liked its construction. It's unique, but doesn't have a particular name as far as I know. The chassis on the left is a very popular brass/wire design. I forget its actual name, but if you do aneBay search for several days on 'brass chassis slot cars" you are apt to find several listed. Most brass/wire chassis of this era were made in Brazil & sold in the US by companies such as Proslot & several others.

Yeah, the one on the left is a generic wing car chassis sold by Pro-Slot, JK and RPM.
I actually have one!
With a gp12 and a well set up wing car body.... they can be very fast.

Dom, one correction...The ProSlot Fox, as it was called, came out in the mid to late 80's.  I ran that same exact chassis to win the 1989 Western States Championship in the Box Stock class.  That race was held at So Cal Raceway in Anaheim CA.  Of course, I stripped the chassis, canned the metric wire replacing it with SAE K&S wire and re-assembled it with 4% silver solder.  Once it was flat and strong this chassis was the one to beat in its hey day.  The other competitive chassis was the M&M chassis shown in Bill Fernald's avatar.  Monty Ohren built two versions, the light wire pan and a full brass pan for the tracks that required a heavier car.

An afterthought,  this picture shows the very same car I ran at the WSC.  It was gold plated after the race.
