I stayed in too, I haven't gone out on New Years eve in probably twenty years. Most of the time I'm asleep at midnight but I did manage to stay up till midnight this year watching TV.

I grew up in a little town that is a suburb of Cincinnati called Mt. Healthy. On New Years eve all kinds of people in town would fire their shot guns at midnight. I live out in the country now and at midnight I stuck my head out the door to hear all the shot guns. All I heard was a couple of faint booms way off in the distance. Times have changed, I guess everyone is afraid to shoot their guns because someone might shoot back.  :shok:  :laugh2:

Happy New Year everyone.

I got a neighbor who doesn't need a holiday to shoot his guns. The noise can be a little annoying at times, but as long as he shoots towards the woods in back of his house, I don't complain.

My wife says I don't pay enough attention to her, or something like that.  :unknw:
