January 6. OK, I know it's cold, but we are going to race anyway. The folks up north go to the track in the winter, so why not us?

If you have never raced here before, then this would be a good time to come, and if you think home track racing would be boring, you are in for a big surprise, the racing is fast and close with a good bunch of racers, we use the same cars you are now racing on the commercial tracks,

The track opens at 8 AM and the first race starts at 10 AM sharp! We try to start our races on time.

First race, JK Indy, Retro Hawk motor and our hand-out body, the open wheel GTP.

Second race, starting at 12:30 the NASCAR/DTM, T-Flex chassis with Retro Hawk motor.

Third race, the GTP, any non-wing body, any stamped steel chassis, Hawk 7 motor.

For our rules, directions and some help with set up PM me here, the track is located near Prattville, Alabama, just off I-65.

I know a local guy this sign fits to a "tee."  Our hiding his cane probably didn't help the situation much. :)

How old should a highway be before you tell it, that it has been adopted?

$10 would be worth taking Red out back to the woodshed...is the ten bucks refunded if you beat him?

No, it's not worth it, and no refunds. I stopped trying; every time I tried I ended up in the slot car ER :laugh2:

He's one tough bird :)

I do have a new GTP car to test on him this time. "All clear, pass me on the left, Red"

Wear your Long Johns boys and girls, 29 degrees at 9 AM with NE winds about 5 MPH.

No precipitation, though

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D :dance3:

Pablo, That's BBQ weather, it's  -15 (15 below zero) up here in Michigan now, we did have a high of +2 today and a dog frozen to a fire hydrant.

Send your heat wave north.

take care and stay warm.

They had to snap him off the hydrant ( known as breaking the ice),  :laugh2:

Many stray animals didn't make it this week.  :frown:  I put out a few straw piles and feed, to much snow they can't get food.

The Bald Eagles and the Bobcats here on Johnson Bayou are going to be feasting on frozen Mullet for a few days.

Would have broken my heart if they were gamefish, but it was all Mullet, hundreds, all dead.

29 F here would be considered t-shirt & cutoff weather. Did AL get any of that southern snow & ice, or did it all stay north in the Carolinas?
