Cheater (Greg Wells) has been kind enough to create this subforum not just for me but anyone else interested in Computer Aided Manufacturing. This covers not only CNC milling with both traditional mills and the new gantry type mills, otherwise known as CNC Routers but also 3D printers and CNC lathes.

It is my sincere hope that the 3D printing experts will post in this forum as well. With regards to CNC milling I am hopeful that people operating traditional CNC mills or those considering may CNC sphere will join in as well. I am new to this topic but I will share everything that I learn and will take copious pictures and videos.

I will be very open about the pros and cons of any approach that I take. Explaining my decisions as I go. Hopefully this will be a fun learning experience for all of us.

All I ask is that people are open to new technology.
