As long as you don't make any orange King Tut's or Queen Nefertiti's, your good to go

Haha, I don't think so. I currently have two filaments ... black & black.

Hi Dennis,
What will be your first project to print please?
Thanks.

I will be working on a 1/32 scale motor pod. I have two filaments to try, One is Taulman Bridge Nylon and the other is PolyMide CoPA which is based on a copolymer of Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6. The motor pod will fit into a brass and carbon fiber chassis or at least that's the plan. It's an "upgrade" for the Slot.it Group C Porsche.

How difficult is it to assemble?

Instructions are very detailed with every single step perfectly described and many pictures.
The parts come bagged with different bags for every sub-assembly. Each bag has labels showing pictures and quantities of the parts in it.
If you assume nothing and follow the guide to the letter there is no chance to get it wrong. I will take at least 10-12 hours of work to put it together. The guide is also available online with high resolution pictures which are needed sometimes.

Hi Dennis,
Looking forward to seeing the printed motor pod in the chassis!
Thanks Dennis!
Hi Guillermo!
That looks to be a robust printer - very nice!
Looking forward to a photo when it is ready to "play" - if you please.
Thank you.

We'll soon see if a monkey can put it together. LOL

Parallel thinking:
Carbon fiber prohibited under the rules governing the build

I will look forward to it. The pod in the photo is from Devis Design (no longer in production.) Everything fits well and it seems sturdy but, with motor and gearing installed and running, moderate pressure on the pod yields a slight change in the pitch of the sound suggesting that it is not as rigid as it appears to be.

I will be using a formulation of nylon.
