Well,Here we are in the dead of winter in the Midwest once again. (Indiana is back to cold and ice again today.) I was inside and a bit bored ,so back to a bit of slot car work today. I am currently working on a new drag car. (My first real venture into soldering here.) Also going to finish a Cheetah I started 2 years ago.(Body is now final fitted.Wheel wells clearanced  and ready to do paintwork now.) Hopefully I can post some new "Trailer Park Builds " before too much longer.Amateur assembly at it's best  lol  :D

I also decided to get some new cars into the display. Got my Classic Maserati and my Cyclone Avenger added in as well. (Thanks again to Mr. Noose and Mr. Pablo for their outside support on these.  ;)  )  As you can see,I have a bit of a love affair with the Classic brand  :man_in_love: but I love most of the other  manufacturers also.   I am going to add a third tier shelf to this cabinet for the last of the cars I will be building. Should add just enough room for them to all be included. (Some of the other  new cars I am doing I hope to actually RACE one day. Also doing a few 1/32 cars for my home track I am building.)

Hope I didn't bore  anyone too badly with this post?  ;)

Very cool.

I like all the oddball items like the piston, valve spring, Alfred E. Newman, '57 Chevy gas car etc.  :)

I used to have a collectible toy store and I had one of those evil clapping monkeys too.

The eyes are really creepy when you turn it on.

I would tease my daughter with it and she would actually punch it.

To this day, 25 years later she still cringes when she sees one  :laugh2:

Anyway, nice slot cars too!

The piston, rod and valve spring are out of a SERIOUS Steve Schmidt NHRA 500 C.I. pro stock engine Joe. He has had several record setting engines over the years.

A really nice collection of Classic cars!  Nice display case!  Keep on building!  Making an attempt at building from scratch will be easy for you, you have an eye for perfection.
