I thought that Ron's choice of the 67 Dodge Dart was somewhat unusual, however, in testing it was just as quick as my record setting 69 Camaro. The Camaro set a track record in the Trans-Am Class of 4.927 seconds. In testing, on track by itself, the Dart turned a 4.91 after just a few laps. This car is a contender. Ron Grable originally campaigned a Dart in the Trans-Am series. The 1 to 1 version is now owned by Gary Underwood and run in the Historic Trans-Am series. Below is an image of the 1 to 1 ride.

Did the Dodge come with the flared wheel wells, or were they done by the builder.  They all look nice!
