In hopes of speeding things up a bit and to ease the added work involved with handout motors at this months Parma Checkpoint Cup Can Am event, the SCRRA will provide all the handout Hawk Retro motors with pre-cut pinion shafts to facilitate motor installation. As is normal practice with pinion installation with most racers, the shaft will be cut about .050 and the end will be slightly chamfered to insure trouble free pinion soldering.

The shafts will only be cut and NOT prepped for soldering. This also helps the SCRRA as well as we assist many racers with the break-in and pinion installation on race day so it speeds things up for everyone!  Also, remember that a maximum of (3) motors may be purchased and racers must use the numbered motor or motors they were assigned to upon entry.

   2 weeks to go!............ :)

Try this Mike.  Its easy to set up.  Drill some holes inline  on a  3/4" piece of plywood and thread the tiny wire through
