The MMRK slot car club in Ikast, Denmark, have invited to a Gasser race on their drag strip.
Included in the entry fee you got Revell '57 Chevy kitand+ a USB key with a lot of Gasser pics for inspiration. - Great idea. :-)

Due to moving out twice in a short period of time, and finally moving out to the West Coast, I had problems with the time schedule, so me and my friend Per opted for a Gasser chassis kit from JDS.

Decals are homemade and printed in silver and metallic magenta on my ALPS printer. The flames are from a plastic kit.

Both are "standard" 15mm inside/16mm outside alu wheels. The inserts for the front wheels are from a plastic kit and the rears have a combination of resin wheels inserts (my own production) and turned aluminium wheel rims.

The wheels and alu rims are available from Werks in Germany in several sizes.

Very nice, that is the first one I have seen built with the drop arm. Please post how it works.
Joseph Migliaccio. Karma it's a wonderful thing.

That's two but I agree.

Niels, what motor do you have in that car?

Outstanding job as usual.

Dang your stuff is entertaining Niels!

I like the premise of this race - a handout body kit and photo-laden USB thumbdrive.  Any photos from the meet?  I'm sure folks would love to see them.

Here are some more pics from the Race. Unfortunately I was not feeling well and had to go home after the first practice rounds. These pics are from the Best of Show.

Hi Niels,

This project reminds me of my old K&B 1/24 drop arm slot car.

I believe it was a Shelby Cobra Daytona body - but not sure because it was so long ago.

Exceptional creation Niels!

Thanks for sharing.

Ernie
