With the newly revised IRRA motor rules, we are going to amend the previously posted amendment

 

Effective 3/1 the following motors will be the only allowed motors for the CanAm class -

 

Hawk Retro 7R marked long shaft

Hawk Retro 7R marked short shaft

Professor Motor PMTRHR marked

 

All other classes will still be allowed to use all versions of the Hawk Retro motors (Stamped Made in China, Rs and 7Rs long and short shafts as well as Falcon 7's, TSR and Professor Motor PMTRHR

 

Effective with the next Winter Series the following are the only motors allowed in all classes:

 

Hawk Retro 7R marked long shaft

Hawk Retro 7R marked short shaft

Professor Motor PMTRHR marked

TSRs, Falcon 7s

So you can use up all your remaining Rs and Made in China motors before the next winter series in everything except Can-Am after 3/1. Until then, for the two remaining races at HVR and SZ, you can use them all.
