Complete rules and all the misc posted anywhere (did not see anything but dates on the FB page).

 

Wasn't Beuf originally listed as a BoD?

So that's why he was asking for my Bulgarian friends number lol

 

Matt,he was and while I dont want to start rumors he appears to have pulled out shortly after the announcement from the USRA.All I know is that when they announced the name of NASRA and started the new page,he was no longer listed and that came about shortly after Roger's statement.

 

So god only knows what happened behind the scenes,but I'm sure Roger got layers involved.

 

I truly hope they are willing to make the tough decisions that get racers coming back instead of trying to appease to the few that remain.If they are then it'll be a success.

matt-yes he was, and one maybe two days after the coup, his name is gone.

 

might be a very good reason, but it doesn't look good.

"Beuf" is a family man and makes his living from our hobby, a good husband & dad does not fool with anything that could negatively affect his wife & kids. I suspect that this can all be done without endangering anyone's family priorities. So far several inquiries to the new organization regarding joining, helping in any way etc. have gone UN-answered. Roger on the other hand carried on a pretty good dialogue with me the other day when I asked how the USRA got so darned messed up as being too all encompassing and too controlling. I've said this before and will say it again, we have a heck of a lot of the old guys around, Cukras, Steube, Rule, Montague and others that have a lot of good experience we should draw upon to get back to simpler rules.

Current 2018 NASRA Rules

No Min Chassis Length and No Submission required for ANY Class

OmBox-No Cahozza Products
HB12-Cahozza Allowed

Spec Tires for the Following and must be bought from the Track
-GpF
-Hb12
-Om12
-C12

Qualifying for the Following Classes on Red Lane and Race Power
-GpF
-Om12
-HB12
-G27L
-TMO

Qualifying Orange and 16 volts for the Following Classes
-C12
-G7

Steel Chassis Only for the Following Classes
-GpF
-Om12
-HB12
-G27L

-All classes may have Axle Bearings
-HB12 may use Handwound Arms
-C12 Maximum of 6 Mags
-Om12, HB12 may only use single piece c-can magnets
-G27 arms must have 2/3 stack min .440, 3rd stack may be min of .435

GpF, OM12, HB12, G27L, TMO. From Qualifying, cars Cannot be touched. They will go straight to the line where groups will be sorted for racing. There will be no working on cars after qualify. The way your car is qualified will be the way your car will start the race.

Speed Rubber Only Allowed in Qualifying In C12 & G7.

Sounds like a great set of rules for one type of track, one type of racer and one type of racing.

 

Should be called the Official North American, South American and Czechoslovakian King Track Racing Rules.   :D
