Jack hand painted this interior for me, probably 15 to 20 yrs ago. Still in great shape and I just found a use for it. A new track in the area, Logan Ave Slotcar Raceway in Belvidere IL is opening up and they will be running 4.5 " stockcars as one of their classes. Thanks again Jack!

Jack is around and has been doing some basement racing.

I assume that's Bill Spire's raceway, you are talking about.

Jack's attention to detail is amazing. I also have a few of his interiors. His bodies are just as good.

I bought a car some years ago from Jack and I have never used the body. Too nice to race.

Your right Mike, it's Bill's place. Everything is falling in to place. Approval from the city, insurance, getting setup with the distributors, all the non fun stuff. Should be opening up to the public very soon.

Hi Dave,    Jack semi retired from 1/24 racing a few years ago.  He came out to race 1/32 cars with our Great Lakes Club several times last Winter, but has not had his racing partner Ken Swanson coming out either - his Harley is more important than slot cars.  We all miss them both.  Ken is talking about a motor home and the open road....

Hope to get up to see the new track soon.  I still have cars from Raceworld set-up for those old USSCA stockcar rules.
