Some of you have noticed a new product on our website within the last few weeks, so I guess it's officially time to "spill the beans"...

The bar has now been raised once again...

Ralph Thorne Racing proudly present 'The Titan' and the 'The Titan COT,' our first 1/24 Stock Car bodies that we are manufacturing in-house. They feature a mixture of design elements of modern day stock cars, from NASCAR to Super Late Models. Our designs were CAD drawn, as always, with input from top engineers and racers around the country. It has a unique front fender flares not seen on current slot car stock car style bodies and a recessed front wheel sticker location that makes the front wheels easy to align on both sides, and they appear to be tucked under the front fenders. The body will measure just under 3.250" wide. Once again we've added a nice cut line to assist in body trimming and mounting. This body truly blends a modern and realistic race car appearance with superior race winning on-track performance. The rear of the body creates big time downforce, allowing you to decrease your laps times and turn more laps, plain and simple. We noticed a huge difference on the outside lanes where all the other bodies just got loose, The Titan stayed hooked up.

Once again this is an original copyrighted design from Ralph Thorne Racing with all rights reserved. We don't backpour or copy any other manufacturers designs.

They are available in .005", .007", and .010" thick Lexan. Each body comes with a unique window mask and a pair of front wheel stickers. We've made the rear window mask three pieces for a better fit and finish around the rear window ribs.

Please note that we start from .005", .007" and 010" material, so it will be thinner on the sides. As always we strive for quality pulls with even side thickness.

Retail price for .005" and .007" is $6.95 each plus shipping.

Retail price for .010" is $7.95 each plus shipping.

Raceway pricing is available and ERI already has these in stock.

Our Ford, Chevy and Toyota decal kits are a very nice upgrade at only $2.49 each, and they can be found HERE.

If you purchase five or more bodies direct at retail, a free, random decal kit will be included with your order as a thank-you!

Please note the bodies will only come in retail packaging when purchased by a raceway or if specifically requested on direct orders.

Can someone place an O/S body along side for comparisons?

Wow!!! :shok:   Nice design, Ralph, looks like a real winner! Great pull too, not to mention the nice extras that come with the body. Looks like you've got some first class equipment working for you there at RTR World Headquarters!  :wink3:

The next question. Are they allowed in the FNRS series and when can I get some? That's really two questions in one...  Looks like you solved the rear end collapsing problem with those roof struts, great job.

One more thing. I can't get audio when you and Ron do your race reports no matter where I go to view them, but I get the audio when I view Ron's "How To's." What do you guys do differently?

They will be allowed in FNRS starting at the next race in April.

They are available now.

Nothing is done different, make sure the audio button isn't muted? Not sure what the issue is there.

Thanks for the kind words, Fred.

Fantastic work, Ralph Thorne Racing!

Will these new bodies be considered for the Florida Flexi series in 2018?

Pictures of our new Titan stock car body have been popping up online, here's a few painted ones we saw. We extremely under estimated the popularity of this body, the Titan NON COT in particular. We are working hard to fill all the back orders, and they should all be shipped by tomorrow. Thanks again for your patience and support!

How are most people cutting this body? Looks like 1/8 on the splitter instead of the bumper, but how high is the tail?

If you trim the front bumper along the top of the cut line it's just over 1/16th tall and once trimmed along the cut line the rear is an 1 5/8 tall unmounted.

It appears the splitter adds some length and height to the front of the body, good for low down force situations.  If you remove the splitter and cut the bumper to 1/8 (still within most rules) the body would be the same length as the O/S COT but it would be much lower in the front.  Seems like that would be very good for high speed King tracks. I think I'll experiment when I get mine.

I have done two, they are easier to mask and paint and they are neck and neck with O/S COT. Well made product.

We really like this body! Our NASCAR races are now all TitanCOTs and everyone is enjoying the change. The paint mask is so well done and easy to use. Its great having a little change after years of the same ole JK Toyota, year after year. Well done!

Could someone post a picture of the rear of the non-COT Titan body? Is there a rear bumper feature in the body?

The rear bumper shape, size and placement are the same on both bodies.
