In such a small cottage industry, will the new RTR bodies currently stocked at distributor be allowed?

Since FSCS does not allow COT bodies, will the RTR Titan without COT back spoiler be legal?

Will the FSCS consider the new RTR Titan body for 2018 racing?

First of all, the premise to your question is all wrong. FSCS does allow three different COT bodies in NASCAR.

Secondly, for the FSCS Fall Championship, we will be running DTM bodies in place of 4" NASCAR bodies. The official announcement is going to be made later this month.

Thirdly, Ralph has produced another masterpiece. It is obvious to me that if these new RTR bodies are allowed, they will be the only ones being used in 4" NASCAR. There is not enough lead time for new bodies by the beginning of June.

Questions re-phrased, hopefully the BD will consider this.

Will the FSCS approve RTR Titan bodies now?!?

Will the BoD consider and make a ruling now on all RTR bodies currently available at the distributor?

If they are not considered now, as Doc alludes to above, when will the FSCS BoD make a ruling on RTR bodies?

I put it up to the directors to make a decision on this matter. Hopefully we will have a decision in the next couple weeks.

Jeff, the bodies that you bought are good for the March, April, May, and June FSCS races.

Well, that's fine. It's just I bought them for prep for future NASCAR races, though we are only talking three NASCAR bodies.

I would have never thought the body rules would change for NASCAR.

I walked back the announcement concerning the DTM bodies replacing NASCAR bodies. I really don't know what we are running in the Fall.

Ive been sitting back reading for s long time now. Its tije to break out of my shell.

Seems to me theres some disliked manufacturers from the fearless leaders from this Florida racing group. Its not hard to see from my stand point.

Why should we have to work so hard to cover up the tips of the center section with the bodys that are legal. Even with a Parma Intriped its hard to cover the tips. My suggestion is to either open up some different manufacturers of bodiesie,,, RTR & O/S bodies. Both are very available at distributors and cover the tips,,, or let the tips extend the body. We just about have to ruin a new body after taking several hours to painting them. Its very disappointing to me to try and cover the tips and ruin the new body. I know Im no one to ask for different rules and nothing will be changed this racing season, but if the leaders will come down to our racers level and see things different.

Mike, thank you for posting here. The directors of FSCS value your opinion. The issue that you bring up is faced by all of us. This matter is under consideration by the directors as I write this. I also want to point out that the directors are all racers. Personally, I find it annoying to try to get the bodies to cover the ears of the Mossetti Defender chassis. There is no problem with any other chassis.

I want everybody to know that the rules are frozen for the Spring race schedule. Any new approvals would have to wait until the Fall schedule, such as, the short shaft 7R motor.
