Jerry came by Saturday's GLISRA race, at C/R, to say "Hi..

Some may may have heard that Jerry had a ladder slide out from under him while cleaning leaves out of the gutters of his McHenry home.

He took 20+ stitches in the face, but the good news is he has healed nicely.

Howie,

I think, technically, he never fell off. I'm pretty sure he rode it down, and being horizontal, at the end of the ride, was the issue.

Anyway, it's nice to see a lot of "likes" for Jerry.

I was real busy on Saturday when he came by, so he called me earlier this morning to impart some of his wisdom on me.

Jerry is real happy, enjoying retirement. He has been able to spend a lot of time with his 18-year old grandson, who shares the same strong work ethic, as Jerry and wife, Maria.
