Can anyone identify this 1/24 brass chassis?

A friend of mine picked this up as part of a lot and asked if I had ever seen one...which I have not.

 

Can anyone identify it?

 

Looks pretty intricate with steering front, front springs and rear leaf springs.  Maybe part of a kit?

Yep, made in Japan by a company called International; they did a few different chassis like this with various gimmicks: suspension, steering, differential, etc. Doesn't seem to be the same as the American company International, altho they did import stuff from Japan...
