Hello Don, and thank you Jairus

I found the article scanned by Dave D Stevens, thanks to him.

The article is very interesting, and I like the pittman 706, instead of the 16 D, I mounted a
pittman RP66.

Thank you friends for your comments.

And as promised, here are the pictures of the chassis and the completed car.

And if it does not work properly, I will surely use my Connaught type B, here in photo.

Made of wood and aluminum for a proxy here, I would like to race with, BORDEAUX.

As expected, the engine is likely to give up the race, I preferred to use the CONNAUGHT Type B lighter and slightly more powerful engine, for the race BORDEAUX.

She is not very fast, but safe, I made a wise race.

And as she finished first in the elegance contest, thanks to her presentation note, I finished in eighth position, and without breaking the car.

The Allard that I had the leisure to run on the wood track, is not very fast but very pleasant and safe.

What a wonderful field of cars. And apparently drivers who respect each other and their cars. In my personal experience, that's rare indeed.

Rare?

Please elaborate.

Rare?

Please elaborate.

Rather than slot cars perhaps we should call them nerfing cars?

Yeah, I have noticed a difference between "gentlemen" and "combatants".  Kind of got me out of racing.... mostly because I found myself gravitating toward the latter.

Congratulations Régis!  Well done!  :good:

I object to the "rare indeed" comment.

I hosted numerous proxy races, and I don't ever remember shipping any, to the next destination, damaged.

There, I've edited my original comment so that it reflects my personal experience and is not meant to be a generalization. "Your results may vary." :thank_you2:
