"I just received a call from Doc Dougherty. He will undergo heart bypass surgery at noon today (6/2/18). He is in Holmes down here in Melbourne, (FL). If you get a chance to stop by in the next day or two; my guess is he will be there. I plan to head down that way at close of business. I'll post more once I speak with him.

For those of you who may not know Doc, he is the guy in the Ohio State shirt in the photo. He is instrumental in keeping the Florida Slot Car Series running and also supports the GRRR."

Crap!

Doc, Jay Guard, and I were at the Indy 500 last Sunday! He and Jay spent Friday and Monday nights at my place here in Norcross...

Wait'll I getta hold of Doc... I'm gonna tell him I woulda been really pissed if he'd a croaked while here or at Indy. Would have really ruined my weekend... LOL!

Get well soon, Doc!

Texted Doc this morning. Lots of pain. Surgery appears to have gone well.

I talked to Doc a day or two before his doctor's appointment and he seemed to know what was coming.

Glad to hear that the surgery has gone well and he's on the mend.

Doc, just do as the doctors says. They have done wonders with bypass surgery now. My quadruple bypass was very successful and my life is going as I wanted it to be. The Lord was watching over me and he will be watching over you
