I just nicely got home from my first expedition to RetroPalooza. I think its safe to say that it was a display of all that is right in slot car racing.

Port Jeff is an excellent raceway with great parts selection, clean and well-lit facilities, and good washrooms.

Staff are very helpful and have just the right amount of cheek to make it interesting.

Racers were truly the most friendly and helpful bunch I have ever encountered.

I did not hear a single racer bitching about motors or rules the entire six days was there.

Huge kudos to the raceway, the IRRA® crew that gives us a good rule set, and all the guys that ran off the races. Truly a job well done.

Glad you could make it and to meet you regardless of what Dan said. LOL.

I had a great time. It is always fun to meet and talk the racers from different countries: Japan, Canada and Southern California! :shok:

A shoutout to the new pros: Keith Libby, Dale Yamashita and Brian "Pro" Cochrane, all well deserved!

Cheers
