Sounds like you're going to eat good, even if you don't race good. :)

Anyone know how having food at slot car races started? I began racing at commercial raceways in 1967, but never got free food  at any of them until 1996. Now it's expected, even at the hard body club I sometimes run with.

1968: pizza and sodas.

Nowadays, the best raceways like Chicagoland always have awesome eateries close by.

The Dungeon is a place you will never go hungry. Here is the potato salad I will bring as the side dish:

Pablo's Remolacha Potato Salad
Ingredients:
3 eggs
3 medium potatoes
1 medium onion
2 celery stalks
2 green onion stalks
2 carrots
1 - 15oz. can beets
1 - 10 oz can green peas
2/3 cup mayo
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 TSP white vinegar
1 TSP lemon juice
1 TSP salt
1 TSP pepper
1 TBSP mustard

If you have any dietary restrictions, let me know, I can accomodate you.

I'll be getting the freshly baked French bread at Winn Dixie tomorrow, and I think it would be a friendly show of sportsmanship if the winner of the Billy Watson Knife personally cuts it :D
