Thanks for any help identifying this plastic or nylon anglewinder chassis.

The picture was labeled "cox" but it does not match Cox products that I remember. I looked at the tsrfcars  page, but it doesn't match the cox superscale cars. ... but I'm not familiar with 1/32 chassis at all.

Image appeared on ebay back in 2001.

This chassis was used on the 1/32 scale Cox cars that came in the Superscale sets, and is a revision of

the inline Eldon Chassis. The sets also used Eldon track. The bodies that came with this chassis were the Porsche 917/10,

McLaren M20 and a Baja Bug VW Beetle. Later Superscale sets came with smaller 1/40 scale cars and a plastic and brass/steel

chassis designed by Philippe de Lespinay that was the predecessor of his TSRF chassis.

For comparison, Worthpoint shows a Cox Superscale Porsche, maybe this is it jokar 124? The chassis is similar, maybe so:

That would be the second generation generation chassis, for the smaller 1/40 scale cars, similar to the current TSRF.

Here's another picture, which seems to match my original post. So this is a first generation 1/32 Cox superscale chassis?

Sorry to post these in no order. I rediscovered some older slot car pix and I'm looking for mysteries. I really appreciate your answers! Thanks!

That's correct. It's shown mounted to the Porsche 917/10 body.
