Was really happy to find the rare 1/24 scale Pam body, Its not perfect meaning it has some splits in the rear valance, but I believe I can fix them. My plan was to make it into a model of this one below, which looks to me like it is dark blue or black (hard to tell from this one pic). There is an artist pic where it is blue also. Shown below.

Has anyone found other pics that would show its color? I know there is some other conversation about it being gold but other than the "Russkit Pam prototype" being gold I have found no other evidence of the real 1/1 car..

I have looked at the gold Russkit car in great detail and every detail is the same. Rivets, gas caps rear vents and door lines etc. have a been a match. Would love to hear more info on the connection between Russkit and Select. Maybe Select had plans to make them exclusively for Russkit? Who knows. I am just excited to share and learn more about this obscure Can Am car.

Sorry, I missed that it is a 1/32 body.

Thanks Don, my focus is on 1/24 but I did find this opinion on a 1/32 blog.

"The Elfin and Pam-Chevy are not Bill Sippel's but were made by Ron von Klein for Russkit. The Elfin was issued but not the same model, while the Pam-Chevy was only made as a prototype. The molds served to supply the MESAC club members with bodies, so some of von Klein's masterpieces are still floating around".

So this masterpiece floated to the surface. I wonder how many were made. I have never seen another clear Pam   .  Anybody?

What did the name PAM mean was it a girls name like the Genie from Huffaker or a company name P.A.M.?
