We were able to run all four classes this saturday with the JK Indy being the closet with 3 ties, there were a total of 8 ties in the four races.

Pablo and Red took home most of the marbles with the rest of us average racers just trying to hang in there.

In this day of large fancy wood boxes there are still people who an old shoe box,

Pablo made a clean sweep of every thing except the floor.

Had I been picking, I would have chosen the #5, the third kart from the left. Was Bud Greene on vacation? I didn't see his name listed in the race reports.

I wouldn't make fun of the guy with the Nike racing box. By-the-way, what's his name? In the early '70s I raced with a Polish kid named Stanley Sliwowski from Worcester, MA. Stanley's slot car carrier was a brown paper bag from the grocery store. But could that kid drive a slot car. He was practically unbeatable in New England for 2 or 3 yrs.

Good call, Bill, but that kart wasn't eligible for judging. See the rules in Slotblog's "Rules Library" for the reason why.

I made the kart rules with a lot of forethought, and I hope people see that with appreciation. If not, send me a PM :)

Bud Greene elected to sit this one out. I respect that and I don't question it.

Nobody makes fun of Steve Harrington, I promise you. I've been racing with him for a long time. His wife Shirley is one of the best race directors on the planet. They owned Raceword Speedway for many years.

Bill, fly into Montgomery next month, we will pick you up and show you around The Dungeon :D

Pablo, Liam departs Africa tomorrow night. Should I be getting any airtime soon, it will be toward TX or AZ rather than AL. I'm trying to defer such a trip until next summer when he retires July 1st.
