Mark's Model World Flatter but Glass Smooth G19 Gerding King track is ideal for these cars, The spec motor levels the field and makes it more a test of driving and car setup ability and provides some challenging, clean, close racing!!! If you are a good driver and have been out-motored in other wing car classes you will like Gp-F, fast enough to be fun but slow enough that you have time to react and avoid wrecks. Marshal has time to get car back on before someone comes around again so major pileups are few.

$20 entry includes practice session and lunch. Mark is an excellent chef and always feeds the troops well. This race is open to any and all challengers!

Weekly racing is held every Sunday at 1 PM. For the weekly races we place the top eight qualifiers in A Main and the next eight in the B Main and so on... so regardless of skill level you have a chance to win your main.
As always, this will be a well-attended major Wing Car event!

Any issue with shortening the motor shaft on the endbell side of the motor? This is a USRA legal modification and I it has been legal in your race in the past but it isnt specifically noted in your rules for this year.

As always, thanks for posting, Bill.

Big congrats to Ricky Jr., on his win, and especially to you and Gary, for knocking on the door of a podium spot, against some real tough competition.

With a +3, for your dedicated marshaling, you would of wound up on that podium. Lol

Big thanks to MMW Mark Kitto for hosting the race, as usual no one left hungry or disappointed in the facility. What started at REM raceway 7 years ago continues to bring AFFORDABLE Wing Car Races to the masses. :)

Thanks to Project X for the race prizes and MMW for the prize money,

There were many racers that stayed over from the Flexi-Palooza the day before, Ron Hershman,Terry Watson, Jim Harter, Bud Denning, Perry Walters, Randy and Walker McAnulty, Eric Shirey. Some who came just for the race, Russ Martin. Rick Sr. and Rick Jr. Bennardo, Gary Cooper. The rest were just the lazy locals. Thanks to all for supporting the event.

The racing was close, competitive, and sometimes messy,( you will have that sometimes in wing car racing) the lead was changing throughout the race but Rick Jr. pulled it out in the last lane, not bad for a guy who hadn't raced wing cars in 20 years! We even got Rick Sr. to join in!

We had a surprise visit by Mike Swiss who was on his way back from a family engagement in Pa., and it became a pleasant surprise when his lovely wife Jacqueline was with him, it really classed up the joint! :)

Race date for next year is always in flux so will post when known.
