Don’t last long do they?

A few practice laps, then an 18 min (6x3) race after 1 minute qualifying.

Not much left, lucky we were not racing for 24 minutes!!

I assume you are running vertical brushes.

They shouldn't be wearing that much.

ISRA Mains are 40 minutes and I don't recall hearing about those guys running out.

Possibly your comm moved a bit, which accelerated the wear.

Yes, rarely running out but sometimes slowing. Must be a bad comm.

Our GLISRA monthly series ran these the last 10 years, 8 X 3min mains and I usually got two races before a rebuild while running some amount of choke.  

 

Koford Big Foot brushes but switched to the new PS brushes last year with similar if not better wear from them.

I use the Kofords too. So this should not be the problem.
