No, not some remake of a Judy Garland movie.  ;)  With all the vintage stuff I've been busy with lately, I needed to do something a little more current.  I did a bunch of trimming and other lightening on an older Mura C can (turning the sides down, but leaving the flats and the bearing strap "pretty much" intact).  The end result was a very light can, but with the critical parts left for strength.  I painted the can because there was no plating and even if there were, most of it would be gone from the turning, and the humidity lately does wondrous things for growing rust on otherwise clean steel.  :)  Yeah, I know that will get messed-up by soldering and whatnot, but at least things will stay "nice" until then.  Kind of a PITA to epoxy the magnets in without screwing up the paint, but if I had painted afterwards, the paint would be all over the magnets, and I think that looks like doodie.

So the motor is almost done, except for the minor details of the powder coat, com, magnet wire, welding, tieing, epoxying, com cutting and balancing.  :)

In the old days the 'H' designation before the arm designation on the tag meant that it was a Hemi wind.

What mags did you use for this setup?  I bet you could wind a mean INT-15 arm!

When people ask, I wind whatever it is they're looking for, but they're all basically the same.  The really really short stack arms, .300" or less get a little more tricky, but even those aren't all that different.  Int 15 is basically the same as this one on a longer stack, so it would be very similar.  The magnets here are just nice ceramic singles.
