NASCAR 1/24 hard body racing at Pelican Park is a big draw. On 9/12/18 fellow racers from Portland

and Roseburg, OR, the I-5 Corridor guys, joined PPS regulars for another weekly Wednesday night's

slam-bang racing under our unique format of 16 separate 50 lap heat races. 8 qualifying prelim heats

to sort out who goes to the Main (top 4 qualifiers) the Consi (next 4), then the Hooligan series in which

the other 8 then contest for the Hooligan Consi and the Hooligan Main. Cully (under the P in the STP

logo) won the Main, earning the revolving Top Dog trophy he keeps til next week.

Hey Todd,

Thanks for posting the photo and race results.  Quite a turnout... and a lot of close racing, by the look of it.

Leo must have had some problem in heat 5, finishing 3rd in the yellow lane with the fastest car of the evening.
