Where is a good (inexpensive) place to order Hi-Speed wing pre-painted and ready to run bodies? PCH is all out.
Thank you in advance.

You lost me at (inexpensive). I believe Bill Taylor paints them up and sometimes wings them and Debbie at BPR sells them.

Yes but at the price of $23.xx meaning inexpensive as I find them all over the place priced from $25.xx to $29.xx so looking for a good source as will get quite a few. Looking for online source too. PCH had them for $23.xx ready to run painted and all, so looking for another similar source and price (inexpensive) price range.

Well it's always a balance for $$$ You can get CHEAP FAST OR QUALITY!! Which TWO do you want?? I don't think ANY body pre-winged AND painted for under $30 is a bad deal. If it's not done properly--it's $$ wasted!! Bill Taylor does it right and very inexpensively--- seems the best way to go for my $$$!

I got 3 from PCH just now. They were hiding somewhere. I thought I got them for 23.xx but my mistake they are $24.99. That's what I'm talking about and they are Hi-Speed! I see some on Ebay and other vendor site for $28.xx it's like um no thanks. Price gouging~

I cut and winged my own bodies. You can make a lot of subtle changes and match the body to the track.

No offense meant, but there's no price gouging going on with "typically priced" painted (winged or not) bodies. When you take into account the cost of the blank shell and then the cost in terms of time and materials (*let alone the cost involved with getting the experience to produce them), bodies are pretty much a "deal". Think about what the typical cost for any skilled tradesman is in 2018, to put this all into perspective. ***Of course, typical prices won't get you a "Noose" or a "Jairus", but they shouldn't because you don't pay for a Chevy and expect a Ferrari.

Last time I bought winged bodies I paid about 40$ per body painted to my colors and numbered. I'm quite happy with it after having made hundreds of winged bodies. I really know the trouble when doing them - should be done in series but I'm too lazy to make that effort.

I don't mean to offend by saying price gouging but I do like a good deal, some deals are better than others when you are planning to buy a few, so it adds up. Anyways, I found pre-mounted and ready to run for $19.00. There are good deals out there!
10 bodes at $28.00 is $280.00
10 bodies at $24.99 is $249.90
10 bodies at $19.00 is $190.00
Saving $90.00 from the most expensive to the least expensive leaves me with plenty of money for other parts needed. I hope people can understand this.
Thanks everyone.

Sorry but you get what you pay for a pre mount body. Talk to Debbie at Buena Park or talk to Bill yourself. I know he lurks around here as wjtaylor

Mario
Thanks for looking into my product line. I hope they bring you fast lap times.
I have 3 different lines.
1-with numbers. these are race bodies. Capable of running with the best
2-No numbers. These are mostly Vypors but there are some Supros and Pantaras out there. These are for the guy who just wants to make laps on a saturday afternoon. It's for the guy who walks into the raceway and says "I found my old cars in the closet but the body is done. What have you got?" I call these sportsman. They are cut longer and taller than a race body. And these bodies have won races against the local hot shots who have done their own bodies. This happens in raceways around the country.
3-Winged Flexi. Those are my Mustang body and are cut to fit Flexi's
#1 has an MSRP of $27.50. It is taped and reinforced to meet the needs of the racing community
#2 and 3 Have an MSRP of $22.95. Slightly simpler paint work and not as much reinforcement.
If you think that is expensive, ask a pro racer how long he takes to wing a body.
Ask someone how much they paid for an airbrush. I have 6 at this time. 3 of them cost me in excess of $300 each
The compressor I have cost me about $600 when I bought it in 2005. I have since inherited anouther
I have about 50 different colors
And lets not forget the cutting software, a couple of grand and a 600 dollar vinyl cutter bought back in 2005/2006. The mask material, the air control.............
And it just keeps going. Frankly I think the prices are to low. What do guys like Buef, PA and John Batson charge for bodies?
