If you bought it on eBay through Mid-America, it most likely is from 'Sano' Dave Fiedler, as Roger sold off Dave's collection for Dave's family.
If so, it's probably something 18-25 years old.
When I held the first Sano, in 2007, where Dave picked up that nickname, he hadn't raced wing cars for quite a while.

Like Bill mentioned, if you are trying to find out the brand of chassis, you have to post a pic.
And when you say etched, do you mean hand engraved or lasered?
