A friend of mine got this chassis in with a recent lot purchase on ebay. It's obviously a typical Brass 15 frame from the late 1970's and early 1980's that needs a lot of t.l.c. Anyone familiar with the engraving as to where it came from or who built it? Any help would be appreciated.

My MAIN FOCUS here is the origin, meaning or info of the engraving, not so much on the chassis. ProSlot used to sell them. My friend Tony Griffin Of Dallas used to sell them when he owned an American Orange track years ago. These might have actually been manufactured overseas for all I know.

No question but what the nose piece is by Parma. The pans aren't the wide-fingered ones Parma released to be used with this nose piece. They could be old Parma, Camen, or some other manufacturer. The chassis photo Jairus posted shows these wide-fingered pans. The chassis engraving looks like 'DLS  Mono' to me. I have no idea who DLS is, maybe someone else does.

Looks like an early Parma 'Monorail' chassis.
