  In the process of refurbing a Classic Serpent, I had a few extra parts, so I used them to build a couple more cars

John,

 

These are really nice, especially the white/red Serpent. If you ever sell it let me know.

 

The Serpent chassis works well for the Patriot as well.

You know I have a soft spot for the Serpent and I love to see them brought back to life. :good:

Were you able to get the guide to clear the nose job on the Patriot McCloud version?. The guide must be far enough back to clear? Can you show a pic of the under side?

  @Martin:  I did have to make a minor modification to get everything under the bod of the Patriot.  Instead of placing the guide in the last hole of the drop-arm, I cut it off, rounded it, and placed the guIMG_20181001_212042.jpg ide in the next hole towards the front axel.
