The next and final points scoring round of 2018 will be on Saturday December 1st at Bill Pinch's raceway in Melbourne.

Doors open at 9am. All races will run on the hillclimb.

First up will be Can-Am which will get going about 10:30. Following Can-Am we will run Formula One and then finally Stockcars.

Please come out and for a fun day of racing and wish Bill Pinch a fond farewell. He and his wife are retiring at the end of this year and relocating. Needless to say the raceway is currently up for sale. Hopefully new owners will purchase it and keep the racing alive on the east coast of Florida, but if not this may be the last time GRRR is in Melbourne.

Great post Grant and thanks for all that you do to keep Retro racing going in Florida!

Racers.....I am looking forward to this race next month and hope that everyone that can make it will

As Grant mentioned in the previous post.....this could possibly be the last GRRR race event in Melbourne, which i don't even want to think about right now. I can only hope that someone does step up and keeps the raceway going for the future of slot car racing in Florida and all those east coast racers.

Hopefully all of the usual suspects that have retro cars or have raced them in the past years will show up to make this a memorable event and an awesome farewell for Bill.

If anyone at Bill's track that doesn't normally run retro cars would like to give them a try, i always have an extra car or two to loan out.

Everyone have a safe and relaxing Thanksgiving with your loved ones and i look forward to seeing all of you next month.

I second the comment about Grant. He has been the glue that has kept GRRR rolling for many years. As the main director of GRRR, Grant has not gotten enough thank yous. So, thank you Grant for all you have accomplished for retro racing in Florida.

BTW: Tony and I will be at Bill's track this coming Saturday afternoon from some practice.  1:30pm....
