Vince Del Viscio, customer, racer, great friend, and even better human being passed away today after a hard-fought battle with cancer. It is truly a loss to all. There was no one like Vince and not likely there will be another.

Sorry to hear of Vince’s passing.

He was one of those people you meet as you pass through life who had found a hobby at an early age and it stuck with him. In his case it was slot racing. A commonality we all share. As an adult racer he always had the enthusiasm and joy of a boy discovering the hobby for the first time. We see it often as the years pass and more racers of the past are the racers of the present. Vince was a fun racer to be around and I was always glad when he was “in the house.”

His family and friends are in my thoughts as they deal with the void of his loss.

Oh man, I am really saddened to hear this.

I'm really glad now that I made it to this year's R4, and got to chat with him for a while. I didn't realize it would be for the last time.

Rest in peace, Vince.

I agree that this is terrible news. I know Vince has been battling that damn disease for some time now.

I believe Vince was at the very first R4 at Tom Thumb, which is where I met him.

Vince was at all the Retro races when we started the Ohio Valley series. He helped make it all happen. One of the true gentlemen of slot racing.

RIP, Vince.

I am so sad to hear of Vince's passing. Vince was one of the happiest people you could ever meet, and we slot racers were so blessed every time Vince would walk through the door at the track.

Prayers and good wishes to all of Vince's family and friends. I hope that he and Jim Nolen are hot lapping it together somewhere in Heaven.

I miss you, buddy!
