Yes... in Can-Am Oregon Retro Racers Assoc. Basic IRRA rules... except .750" tires front and rear and Hawk Retro tagged by me for the racers with each motor numbered... very little glue running on 12VDC flat!

It's a Can-Am Plus car. Why IRRA rules?

Well not really... no center hinges.. hinges all run same way... inline... like I said, except for the size of rear tires.

Long as you're having fun, regardless of anyone's rules.

What's the reason behind the .750 rear tires?

To be technical, that would very much be an IRRA CanAm Plus because of the tire size barring any other mods.  If you're embracing a particular rule set, then it can't be modified as such.  I'd just stick with your local rules that you might borrow from here and there without mentioning a specific franchise.

Hey, Paul are you using glue on your track now?

Yes...some on the corners...i tried not to but things change as always..but the spelt is the same here...We have a TransAm class coming that's hard body...we can lower the car but got to run tires inside the bodies and no wheel well modified...no Pontiac Transam and no Cudas...they would take the spirit out of what I want the class to be. It will be ran on 8 volts with very little glue..retro motors and 48 pitch gears..
A 2.5 inch wide class will be ran at the same day...with either lexan or hard body...any motor up to and including gp12...good luck with your group 12 motors...but that's the cutoff for this year's hard body class and the 1/32nd...and of course remember the 1/32nd class is on 8 volts....it might be a good time...we used to run 1/32nd F1 cars with strap cobalt cars...hi hi hi...with beer cans wrapped with about 25ft of wire..for a choke...those were the days!
So anyway I'm just a old racer track builder with a 85ft road course I built right after my 2 heart attacks having a great time with great friends and Good racers...loving it!

Mike Swiss...the reason for .750 tires...i have built motor mounts..about 4 varieties ...most of them have 4 holes for horozonal and vertical motor screws...ive built them and "0" offset...so the center is .325 center of C D and small motor cans...you can build a chassis with my mounts and screw in any motor that's built...and we do have a variety of motors that are ran in the NWest...like my rules on my track range from gp12 to retro hawks...so the clearance here is min .032 so .750 Will give you .050...and to answered your question...there it is...regards Paul
