I like when the prices from the 1960s are still visible. $3.50 in circa 1965 US dollars = $28.00 2019 dollars.

Not 100% sure, but this looks like a replacement armature for Ram's clone of the Pittman 704-705 motor. I will check my Ram inventory before I come in to race next.

Use: Another restoration project. Body is already painted.
 
Yup. Ram 426 is their 705 clone and the 422 is the version for adjustable gear ratios.

FYI:  $3.50 was more than my starting hourly wage at Caterpillar (UAW Union ) in the same year.
