Posted on the Alpha Products Facebook page yesterday:
"Thank you for all the well wishes. Paul is still recovering at this time.
Alpha Raceway will be closed Tuesday nights until further notice.
We will still process orders online, by email and by phone.
Motor services are on hold for now. If you sent any arms or cans in for work we will send them back to you."
I spoke to a well-connected racer yesterday who indicated that the docs were planning to remove him from the ventilator and other equipment that he's been on in ICU and then assess whether they could do the open-heart surgery Paul needs. He understood that Paul was back breathing on his own and was conscious but very weak.

Here's to a speedy recovery, Paul. Best of luck.
There may be few people on this forum that never raced with Paul. Paul is a multiple Nats champion and a dominant class Pro racer. Paul ran with and beat the best there was. A truly hardcore racer. Just to give you an idea, of who Paul is...

Paul... Get well and get back in the swing of things soon. After having open heart surgery myself, this can take awhile. With care and time you will be back in action. Maggie says you have to eat more vegetables.

Maggie at Alpha posted an update on Facebook about an hour ago:
"I just spoke to Paul for the first time since his heart attack. He is getting stronger every day. He hopes to be back at it soon.
Thank you all for keeping him in your thoughts!"

What can I say at this late time cuz I was not aware of your situation - but am thankful to Him for getting you healthy again!
Was foolishly wondering what was taking my order to get filled - shipment arrived last night and saw your name on the label...
Slot world in good shape knowing you are back in the saddle.
