Probably yes, but why would you retumble a chassis?

to clean it up just guessing?

If you are just looking to clean the chassis, I wouldn't bother with using the media.

If you did use the media, you'd have to pre clean the chassis first, which sort of defeats the purpose.

I would just spray the chassis down, with naphtha, or Pure.

If you decide you want to use your tumbler, I would just put Dawn and water in it.
