I have never seen that enbell design before. Obviously made for inlines. Looks like Koford to me but I am no expert on cobalt motors. Others will know for sure.

Endbel hardware is custom fabricated - not the usual stamped brush hoods.
Maybe a VOKI ISRA 1/32 F-1 setup but different endbel color than I have seen..
I made a modified Koford Eurosport setup with a shortened can for F-1 like this but this is wrong color for Koford endbels also.
I really like the idea of keeping all that hardware off the chassis.

I'm 98% sure that is a Koford endbell.
While some/most are gold, a lot came back from the hard coaters, more of a brown, just like that.

They are "one-off" hoods from Richard Mack.

I was correct it was an English racer.
They are "one-off" hoods from Richard Mack.
May be discontinued items, I have not found them on Mack's site.

When I asked on FB, they were identified as one off hoods from Richard Mack.
IOW, 1 set was made.
I had seen that pic, years ago, probably here on Slotblog.
I had remembered that a UK racer created them.
Either it was never mentioned, or I didn't remember, that only 1 pair was made.
Some prominent racers, that saw the thread I started, weren't aware that such a thing existed.

Thanks guys and especially Mike.
However, unique objects like these, built and designed outside the box, are really fascinating (at least for me).

I've grown to hate this class over the years, spent way too much money to go so slow, only to chew up a @#*% gear!

Fas was the way to go. The class wasn't really that slow. Certainly faster than the stamped steel classes like C-2 and C-can
1/32nd. It could be a real clusterf**k though. Motors were too hot for the chassis.

The strange inline hardware look to be the work of Richard Mack a UK racer and if so they are probably one piece and cast in silver!
Remember he made a limited quantity of "C" can endbell hardware in silver back in the late 80s that needed finishing by hand, still have a set so its possible he did the same for the strap inlines.
Mr Mack is still actve in slotracing through his chassis kits, never know he might still have some!
