The premier race of the Checkpoint weekend is Retro Can Am on the BPR King Track and 42 entrants showed up to battle it out for the title!
Another great looking Checkpoint poster put together again by Jairus Watson, Nesta Szabo and Kathy Mitome! Thanks always for all your help!

......who absolutely stuns everyone with a blistering 3.79 to take TQ honors!........followed by A Main sit-outs Alex Freund, Rick Dodge, Sam Rackham and Duran. Awesome run Marco and great qualifying effort by Rick Dodge!

A Main results An awesome and certainly unexpected outcome to the Checkpoint Can Am as newcomer to Retro racing, Marco Carvalho showed the BPR top guns the way home with a super drive and well deserved victory! Congrats Marco and fastest lap also! Alex just held off Duran for 2nd followed by Dale and Mark and Sam. A Classic Checkpoint Cup Can Am race!
