Finally getting around to redoing an old Camen Group 7 motor with some real pretty custom Pro Slot arms with a milder wind so hopefully they will last a bit longer than the originals. Thanks, Pro Slot.

17-25s were hot hot hot in those U-640 set ups. I blew a lot of those up.

Definitely the comms are a lot better now. My first cobalt Camen S25 could handle a total race of 6x2 and 6x5 mins - but it was the sole one in about five years. Just blown or swollen comms until the Koford S-comms came out.

Wayne Bramble car?

Yes Mike, got to be at least 20 some years ago, when he was working out of Boogies. Bought that with a controller with 1,2 and 3 ohm external resisters on plugs and a choke box. At the time it was an eye opening experience. Not sure on the chassis make, guessing Camen, but it is really long and with floppy fronts. I am going to ditch the old metal gear however.

It's a Camen perimeter.

Super-competitive in the early 90s.
