SOLD!

I received this comm lathe in a package deal from a local racer. I'm no motor builder so I have no use for it. It is complete with the cutting bit and hard carry case.

SOLD and shipped.

Not a Cobra, but this is the lathe I use and I have cut many hundreds (thousand or more) of comms on mine and nothing has changed.  It still runs and works as well as it did when I got it.

Integy XIPP lathe. Upgraded mine to a diamond bit and found it better than the Hudy.

Great product.

I’m sorry, guys. I have been away from the hobby for 10+ years now and honestly had no idea which brand it was.

It has been brought to my attention that it is not a Cobra and also not worth my asking price. This was not done in an effort to get over on anyone, I simply didn’t know.

I have updated the sale price to what I have been told would be a bit more fair.

Any statement that the lathe is not worth the asking price is (IMO) ridiculous. It is worth what anyone is willing to pay, regardless of whether or not the person making the claim doesn't think it is.

* The fact is this lathe is no longer available new, and should be a very desirable one because of how well it works and is made.  That will greatly affect how much it is worth.
* The Hudy lathe, which is no doubt a good machine costs more than the asking price here.
* It should be obvious to anyone that calling it a "Cobra" was not an attempt to get anything over on anyone.  After all, it shows clearly in the picture that it's an Integy XiPP. Besides, as far as anyone knows, saying it was an Integy very well might have made it more desireable.

This is a very good machine/tool and quarter inch diamond tools for it are available for cheap... otherwise, just use carbide and keep the business end sharp.

$175 with a diamond bit in good condition would be a great price and well worth the money.
