My guy either had one, or made one up, and sent it to me.Thanks Mike. Not sure about parts swapping on controllers but I would need it for a Defalco.
I think if you drill out and sleeve the spring hole, with some brass tubing, you won't have a problem.
If you want to try it, I'll send it out for free.
If it works out for you, you can send $20.
If it doesn't, it just cost you your time.

Index & Parma
Had Redfox handles and or triggers on all controllers DR 40, Thirdeye Hitman, Difalco, Carsteen. I guess when I got back into slot cars, Parma handles and triggers where hard to come by. Tried a friends Parma handle and trigger, changed all my controllers. I guess after working with hand tools for years Index finger & palm likes the bigger thicker Parma.

I have not used one for many years but the old metal triggers that got so hot seemed to be just about perfect, until they got hot.
With the electronic controllers It should be possible to make one of these work with no heat.
On the other hand that could be just memories of the good old days.

You forget the blisters - very easy to get. My first experience caused me to glue chamois onto the trigger and so done it now for 45 years.

Parma sold bottles of black rubber trigger insulation. It was probably the same stuff you can buy today as "liquid electrical tape."
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Yep they got hot and we covered them with stuff to make them usable.
But my point was that the shape was pretty good and I think it could work well on a modern controller.
