This might be an odd question, but I am wondering if anyone would know the actual width of the Classic Cheetah body at the mounting points?

Reason I am asking is that these bodies at the rocker panel areas are VERY flexible and tend to roll inward un mounted. The clear ,unpainted body on chasis in the left of the photo was not mounted by me and the bracket was bent slightly off.(Not quite sure if it was bent too wide or too narrow???) I am getting ready to bend the NEW bracket at the right of the photo and DO NOT want to mess this one up.

This question might a bit "sketchy " because I do not think the Classic Cheetah was ever offered in a "RTR" configuration? All were built from parts purchased werent they???(Would like to see one that was "factory' for reference.)

Mike, for what it's worth:  I found one of the two that I have, and it is (I believe) pristine and otherwise unmolested by time, temperature, chemicals, or man;  It measures 2.9" between its flanks...

Hope this helps, and not hinders...   :thank_you2:
